Preparing the planning around the Tides

– instructor,
– spot,
– title,
– hour or tide,
– comment (optional),
– colour,
– duration,
– sport,
– starting and ending period date,
– days of the week.We have here the possibility to define each slot choosing the time or the tide.
In our example, we create 2 slots for Laurent Gaby ( ) on the spot “ribourel” (
) from the 2nd to the 8th of February (
), every day of the week.
The first slot “enfants” ( ) of 1h, light green, starting at low tide (
).
The second slot “adultes” ( ) of 1h30, light green, starting at low tide +2h (
).

Monday the 2nd, the tide was low at 9h42 (

Tuesday, the tide was low at 10h20 (

Sunday the 8th, the tide was low at 12h58 (

The second around the tide slot creation mode allows the user to create “blocks” of slots. More clearly, this means that this method ensures that the time of start of a slot will always match the time of end of the previous one.
You will define here the first slot exactly like in the first method ( for the example: low tide +1h ).
But for the second slot, you will specify before or after the first slot ( here for the example, we’ll go for “after” ).
For the third slot, you’ll decide if you prefer it before or after the first two ( “before” for our example ), and so on for the following slots.
The app will then create a continuous block of slots, all positioned around the first one, whose time of start was specified around the tide.
To finish, the app will adjust the slots to the opening hours of the school, so we’ll start the day at 9h and not 9h30 for example. Nice, isn’t it?

Monday the 2nd, the tide was low at 9h42 (

The slots are tied up, the ending time of the one matching the starting time of the following.Tuesday, the tide was low at 10h20 (

Sunday, the tide was low at 12h58 ( ), the slot “enfants” has been created at 14h (we said “low tide +1h”), the slot “adultes” has been created at 15h (we said “after”), and the slot “perf” at 12h30 (we said “before”) (
).
Once all the slots for the season have being created, you can of course adjust them whenever needed, simply because the sand bank has changed and the low tide isn’t that bad!
